SSL Certifcate Renewal Problem
My TextMark has been working fine for years -- it retrieves a URL from my webserver over SSL to fetch contact info from our church directory database.
But then I had to renew the SSL certificate on the webserver, and now all my queries return:
Error EC0060: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error 14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERV
My hunch is that the old certificate has been cached somewhere, and the error results from the fact that the cached cert has expired.
But I know now how to force the cert to be refreshed if that is the case, or what else could be going wrong.
All the "normal" browsers, even mobile ones, are quite happy with the new cert -- it's just TextMarks that is having trouble.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David Williams

Would uploading the certificate help?
The new cert has just trashed TextMarks and I have no idea (other than the cached cert theory) why. The whole TextMark feature is now dead in the water, and I feel totally helpless to do anything about it.

David,
It looks like your new certificate was from a newer CA (certificate authority) than our server recognized. We've updated our CA list to include the latest, so it looks like you should be good to go. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Excellent! Yes, everything works fine again. Thanks for sorting that out for me.
Thanks again,
David
